    Morton salt and kosher salt have two different intensities of salt and therefore do not make a valid argument. But BA, I will be trying this recipe soon and Andy's bolognese because they look amazing and I know my family will enjoy them.     I agree with the review below-- use your best judgment and adjust to your intuition! If you use less water, salt the pot less! Thanks Molly!! Surprised to see people had trouble with this. Watch the video if you need help. Definitely throw the parmesan in the blender. You can obviously experiment with other cheeses, though sometimes I think: why bother? Your water should definitely be salty but like, use your judgement. There is no reason it should be 5 times saltier than sea water unless you've never cooked with salt before. Anyway, this recipe has worked for me every time, no problem.

    As a cheap grad student, I only have one pot in the kitchen. Just make the pasta first, drain it, and save the water.
